Her work has been called dysphoric and silent, vulgar and elegant, horrifying yet romantic. Rain attributes these dualities to their place of origin - the subconscious. Their primary inspiration are the night terrors that have plagued her since infancy, and she translates them onto canvas. Rain wishes to portray psycho-spiritual turmoils as they are in their primordial form, undiluted by rationale, and she has dedicated her life to that execution.
Rain moved from Ukraine to New York, where she received a bachelors degree in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts. Soon after she graduated, Rain found a passion for the art of tattooing, and has pursued that art-form ever since.
